MERAKI

Upon stumbling across this definition, I knew there was no better word I could use for this space in which I hope to share my creative projects. To me, writing is everything. Woven in the words of every piece I have written, whether a simple school essay or a complex passion project, are pieces of me scattered among pages and syllables and metaphors. Writing is where I channel the emotions and passions which seem to find no rest within me; it is where the love, the sadness, the frustration that wander around the deepest parts of me discover their home. Fittingly, I have decided to name this space Meraki as a reminder of the love which I intend to put into every piece I write. Meraki is a reminder that my work is not just a product of my hands, but a statement of my heart. In reading the writings on this page, you come to know me.
