What I Do

My love of journalism comes from an inherent curiosity about the millions of stories which pass us by every day.

Using my studies of journalism and marketing, I am able to understand how a newsroom plays a role in a community and create content that best fits it. As a creative and a visionary, I truly believe in the power storytelling has to impact every day communities and every day people, and love to cover culture, arts, anecdotes, and more. Much of my most beloved work surrounds a single story that speaks volumes to a bigger issue.

With my experiences in print, digital, production, and reporting, I am well-versed in many areas of the industry and am ready to bring my knowledge to real-world practice. I am most excited by the opportunity to use multimedia elements to create sidebar and original content, and hope to someday utilize my skills as a digital reporter.

Above all, I am a passionate storyteller with an innate curiosity in and love of the world around me. No matter the scale, I am beyond grateful for every story I get to tell.
