NBC 10 Boston

In the summer of 2023, I returned to my role as a digital media intern-- this time at the station of my home away from home, NBC 10 Boston.

This summer has truly given me so many opportunities to step outside of my comfort zone and grow in my knowledge of and love for journalism. As someone who is passionate about writing and was drawn to this industry because of it, I have always had a tendency to stick to pen and paper.

In my time at NBC Boston, however, I have done anything but. With the help of amazing professionals, I was able to spend a majority of my time at the station creating multimedia content for social media, the website, and even T.V.

The experience has taught me more than just how to film a stand-up or edit a package. I have learned that I will never know which passions may escape me should I be too scared to try something new.

As I walk away from this amazing program, I am taking new skills, lessons, and passions with me as I go. This was the summer of chasing curiosities all the way through to creations, and I could not be more grateful for all I discovered!
